Carramar: Tod Consulting were the structural and civil engineering consultants for the redevelopment of the Carramar Aged Care facility to create new dementia wards along with an Administration building. The Structural Engineering work encompassed the design and documentation of the two new Dementia Blocks, the new Administration building including the new entry and alterations to the existing “Activity” Block as well as the new Kitchen and Laundry building, along with supervision and inspections during construction.

The Civil Engineering work included design, construction inspections and superintendency for the internal infrastructure along with external roadworks. The external roadworks were necessary to widen the roadway and create a safer dedicated turning lane for entry to the site. The internal infrastructure encompassed the new access road and roundabout, the car-parking to the service yard as well as the visitor car-parking adjacent to Cooroy-Noosa Road.
